Hi, I'm Kacey Graner.
My Bodywork Story, So Far...
After becoming licensed as a massage and bodywork therapist, I moved to Wilmington, NC to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. In Wilmington I personalized & strengthened my massage technique and opened my first private practice, Port City Massage. Fast-forward to the present...I now own and operate a private bodywork practice in Aberdeen, NC.
My focus is to bring balance to the body through neuromuscular & myofascial techniques, intentional breathing and additional bodywork therapies like kinesiology taping & cupping (myofascial decompression). My formal education in the science of exercise, fitness, health and wellness provides a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology of the human body. I also value the mind-body connection and softer modalities (stretching, essential oil use and breath-work).
I holistically blend the East and the West, and aim to create a dynamic and effective massage for my clients.
I am a big believer in consistently furthering education & being a lifetime learner.
Starting in September, I will begin the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) program. Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that deeply focuses on fascial anatomy and addressing the roots of chronic conditions and pain patterns of the (at first glance) physical body. I will be traveling back and forth to Maine from September 2022 - June 2023 for this new in-depth education endeavor. I will keep everyone in the loop via email and instagram!
Thank you for your support on my ever-growing bodywork journey!
